if you’re moving to BUY OUT your public company’s casino assets with private money, cutting COSTS (of which your Macau operations are a large part) in the process, having something like these arrests drive down the share price significantly is not such a bad thing…

to be clear, I’m not suggesting Packer orchestrated any of this - just that the idea that it is all going to be such a terrible setback to his plans, as some have suggested, is… perhaps a little naïve
